You may have seen on Facebook that I am running a Kickstarter.com campaign to pre-sell and raise funds for the associated costs. The link is at the bottom of this blog post.

Every penny of the profits from this book will go into non-profit Christian ministry with 5% of the profits from the first run going to VOICE OF THE MARTYRS (serving persecuted Christians worldwide.)

The campaign will let you pre-order personalized signed copies, limited edition numbered copies, and the like.

Here's a couple reasons you should do it right now, if you don't mind.

1) If you're anything like me, you forget what you put off till later. It's always easier to handle something right when it crosses my desk.

2) Kickstarter campaigns that start with a bang usually end well. Statistically, the campaigns that do really well at the beginning attract a lot more interest from strangers and do much better. The more money we can raise in the first few days the better returns toward the end. It will be money that comes from outside my normal sphere of influence. Really. I can't emphasize the importance of this enough.

We need to raise a minimum of $7000 for printing costs and distribution but, ultimately, we need about $20,000 to $30,000 to do this thing right. I have already secured distribution rights with the largest Christian book distributor in the world and that will place us in the databases of every major bookstore in the country. The book will be distributed to the mom and pop stores and have access to overseas markets as well. But, with extra money we will work on marketing and publicity to get it on the shelves and out the doors. Won't it be great if this book is in Books-A-Million, Family Christian, and similar bookstores? God has opened some amazing doors to make it happen. I have already hired a former vice president of Thomas Nelson to assist in making the book a success.
